It was very popular under theribbitrally.org era, but it was owned by a kike named (((Mazal))) who eventually merged the site with a soicuck centered site and eventually shut the site. it was later picked up by another person and the last rendition (this one) was created

Kind of, yeah. I believe we shared some jannies and the frogpond had an page where it listed a bunch of sites at its sister sites, including frenschan. there were some threads created for frenschan immigrants on the ribbit rally when frenschan closed down

its kind of complicated but to put it simply frogs on /int/ and /sp/ are generally used to self insert, without really a reason behind it, on /pol/ and /qa/ they're also used to self insert but generally the culture revolves around different activities that are not simply asking a question such as "does X happen in your country"
