Look at archives. I'm pretty sure that a lot of them weren't redditors.

I took a look on a french forum and people are using this kind of spacing, even if reddit isn't super popular there.

I think that this meme needs to be thrown to the trash.

I think that this kind of spacing is just an internet standard. I remember reading a pasta mocking this meme, I don't remember where on 4chan.
